I know I haven’t posted a blog in a few months. Lots has happened within that time frame. I don’t know where to start because a lot is still ongoing still. But here is the sum of it. At HRG we have been expanding slightly or maybe not slightly. We are starting out on the right foot so far. we are growing our numbers on social media for instance our Twitch channel grew to 170 but 2 months ago it was around 132 follows. That is a big jump in my opinion. But that is just a small measure of our presence, we have so much more that is going on.

We got the website fully compliant now because of the new store that will be directly on this website. The Etsy store we will still have though but on the HRG website the store will be more comprehensive with different items, that we have physically on hand. And will then ship out within instead of going through a 3rd Party. Less hands means more streamlined so it will be a quicker process. We are going to go through USPS right now unless that changes but we may give 2 options UPS or USPS. But still not sure on that right now. Lots are still going on with everything. The website is getting updated almost every few days with new information or pages to explore. We will be working the About Us page with a small short video about HRG and what we are. As well a little snippet of it’s owner HRG Surplus.

Another major milestone that will happen this month is our 1st online tournament which will be for Super Smash Brothers Melee on start.gg. We haven’t got a date that will happen on but we shall provide notice once that occurs. We are looking into a few other things as well. We do want it to be a weekly tournament upon if successful for the first tournament. If successful we will run a weekly tournament. If the weekly is successful that is when the fun stuff begins. Like…. I don’t want to spoil anything but I am thinking of something major and also possibly making an expansion on the HRG brand/company. This will be a major difference versus other gaming companies. We soon will be out front as the one-of-a-kind company. This wasn’t easy since at the beginning of the formation of the company. We had to think and layout a plan so we can build out quickly but efficiently with not much remodeling. we have constructed and expanded along the way. But just kept all non-essential parts offline. So when the time comes all we need to do is flip a switch. Which in turns saves time and funding. I am thinking like 3-8 steps in front of the current step we are on now.

HRG is still a tiny company and brand compared with all the big gaming companies and brands out there. HRG will always be HRG but will be reinvented at least 2-3 times with new names and evolution of the business strategy that is currently in-place. A lot of people don’t know but I do want to open an arena in my city sometime in the future. There is currently huge competition here. But we are lurking in the shadows still which provides a huge opportunity for us. We are considered an underdog. No big companies know about us and that right there doesn’t make us a target. But once all of our plans come to fruition, the big boys won’t know what hit them. We are looking towards the future of E-Sports in North America. We aren’t just an E-Sports team but we are so much more than that. Like I said we are building up and just a flick of a switch we will appear suddenly bigger which in truth we were always that big we just under the covers of darkness.

So that is what is happening at HRG. Just so much going on now. Oh did I mention we are starting our first Fantasy Football League as well within the core community. If not we are, those are some of the things we would like to do. HRG is a core community you want to be part of because you do not want to miss the excitement.
